Tršnice - Kynšperk nad Ohří

This calmer route will certainly delight those paddlers who prefer peace, quiet, and romance on the river. The length of the route is 17 km and the difficulty is rated as ZWC, which is a gently flowing river. Along the way, you will be amused by 3 easily passable small weirs. The cruising time is 4-6 hours at a leisurely pace, which is a pleasant all-day trip. We issue boats in Tršnice near Cheb at the Fanynka campsite on the left bank between 9 and 11 am, and you return them at the Dronte boat rental and campsite in Kynšperk on the left bank, where there is a permanent service and where you arrive via a water channel that turns left from the river above the weir.

Kynšperk nad Ohří - Sokolov

A shorter version of a one-day cruise suitable for beginners and families with children, 15 km long. The river flows gently around the Libavské valley through a beautiful landscape to Dasnice, where you will find the first small broken weir with sandy islets, where you can have a snack and splash around. Under the suspension footbridge in Šabina follows another similar broken weir and the possibility of further refreshments and pleasant swimming. Before the next weir at Hlavno – Černý Mlýn, be careful, go through the boat brush pass on the left, the weir is very dangerous!! Below it begins a regulated channel around the Citice power plant, where the cruise runs faster towards Sokolov. The cruising time is 4-5 hours of free riding. We issue boats on the left bank at the Dronte boat rental and campsite in Kynšperk nad Ohří at river km 218.5, between 9 and 11 am. The destination of the cruise is at the Dronte boathouse and campsite in Sokolov at river km 203.2, before the confluence with the Svatava River on the left bank, where you can return the boats between 3 and 5 pm and go to the nearby bus or train station.

Kynšperk nad Ohří - Loket nad Ohří

A longer version of a one-day cruise on the Ohře, 28 km long. From the Water Center and Dronte campsite in Kynšperk nad Ohří, you will sail along a gently flowing river with small rapids and weirs in Dasnice and Šabina to the dangerous weir at Hlavno – Černý Mlýn, which is passed through the boat pass on the left. Then begins a regulated channel through which the river flows faster to Sokolov. On the left before the mouth of the Svatava River, you will see our boathouse, where you can have refreshments. Before Královské Poříčí there is a stone sloping weir, which you can easily carry over on the left. If there is enough water and you can enter exactly, it is possible to ride it down. Getting stuck between stones in the weir can be dangerous, however. Soon you will pass a campsite on the left bank and then you can look forward to the romantic valley before Loket. First you will see a high highway bridge above you, where bungee jumping takes place, and then a broken bridge in Staré Sedlo. Before Loket, enjoy a step that can be easily ridden down on the left part, or carried over on the right. And Loket Castle is already welcoming you in the distance. On the right, notice the nice natural amphitheater and behind the bend you will pass under a bridge and land on the right bank above the weir, which you carry over next to the fish pass. Riding down the fish pass is forbidden and dangerous. In a moment follows another weir, which can be ridden down or slid down completely on the right or carried over on the right along the road, which is more difficult, however. At the following road bridge, stop on the right bank and return the boats at our Boat Rental branch in Loket at river km 190.9. This cruise is long, count on a cruising time of 5-7 hours, but even beginners who are not afraid to paddle can handle it. We issue boats on the left bank at the Dronte boat rental and campsite in Kynšperk nad Ohří at river km 218.5, between 9 and 11 am and collect at the Dronte boat rental in Loket between 5 and 7 pm.

Sokolov - Loket nad Ohří

The shortest version of a one-day cruise suitable for beginners and families with children. The start of the cruise is at our Dronte Sokolov campsite. The length of the cruise is 13 km and can be managed in three hours. Before Královské Poříčí there is a stone sloping weir, which you can easily carry over on the left. If there is enough water and you can enter exactly, it is possible to ride it down. Getting stuck between stones in the weir can be dangerous, however. Soon you will pass a campsite on the left bank and then you can look forward to the romantic valley before Loket. Loket - Karlovy Vary

The route from Loket via Svatošské Rocks to Karlovy Vary is very popular. It is only 15 km long and the river flows briskly through nice rapids in a romantic landscape through a rocky valley. If you want to combine the cruise with a tour of the town of Loket, with its majestic castle and lots of restaurants and pubs, a walk to Svatošské Rocks and end with a visit to Karlovy Vary, you definitely won't make it in one day. We issue boats at the last road bridge at the Dronte boat rental in Loket at river km 190.9 between 9 and 11 am. Shortly below Loket, the first stones and rapids appear in the river and the river carries you through the beautiful wooded valley of the Slavkovský Forest PLA to the footbridge at Svatošské Rocks, where it is worth stopping, exploring the rock city, or refreshing yourself at the Jan Svatoš boaters' pub on the right bank. Further on, the river slows down and Karlovy Vary welcomes you. After the first road bridge, a bit of paddling awaits you to the Tuhnice weir. This former killer has been rebuilt into a peaceful lamb. You will find the chute near the left bank, it is equipped with plastic brushes so that fish can use it on their journey. The best way to get to the chute is to turn into the left arm before the island, which is in front of the weir, and sail straight to where you need to be. Below the weir, the river picks up speed again, before you pass under the highway bridge, watch for signs on the left bank, at the burnt-down boathouse you return the boats between 3 and 5 pm. There is a bus stop and a Kaufland store nearby. If you left your car in Loket, you return by train.

Karlovy Vary - Vojkovice

From Karlovy Vary to Vojkovice it really flows. There are several larger rapids such as the Hubertus rapids or the Velichov rapids. The length of the route is 25 km. We start the cruise between 10 and 12 am about a kilometer below the Tuhnice weir on the left bank in the Nové Dvory district, Sokolovská street, a short walk from the gas station. Here is the Dronte boat distribution point, you can leave your parked car here, get in the boats and continue under the highway bridge and footbridge to the U Solivárny weir, which can be ridden completely on the left if the water level is sufficient. About three hundred meters further, a smaller step will rock you, you need to paddle the boat properly and then you can look forward to nice rapids with large boulders. Up to the Hubertus forest campsite, rapids alternate with calm sections, the river flows nicely and the wooded surroundings will please romantics especially. The Hubertus training rapid can be managed by a moderately experienced paddler, but it is possible to carry it over on the left bank. In Dubina on the right bank, we recommend the excellent boathouse pub U Dvořáků where we also have a boating center or you can end the cruise here. The following weir is usually ridden on the left. Further on, the river carries you to the dilapidated Kyselka spa, with the Mattoni spring and a lookout tower. Numerous rapids are interspersed with the dangerous Radošov weir, which you should not ride under any circumstances, but carry over on the left bank. In Vojkovice at the campsite at river km 151.2, after the bridge on the left, you return the boating equipment between 4 and 6 pm. Here it is possible to get refreshments at a stall or in a wine bar. You can continue by train back to Karlovy Vary or to Chomutov.

Karlovy Vary - Dubina

The cruise from Karlovy Vary to Dubina is a beautiful trip. There are several larger rapids here, such as the Hubertus rapids. The length of the route is 15 km. Dubina - Perštejn

From Dubina to Perštejn it really flows. There are several larger rapids such as the Velichov rapids. The length of the route is 24 km. We start the cruise between 10 and 12 am in Dubina at the Dvořák campsite. Where we have the Dronte boathouse, you can leave your parked car here, get in the boats and continue to the weir at the end of the campsite, which can be ridden completely on the left if the water level is sufficient. In about 500 meters you will reach the Kyselka spa which is being renovated - you can visit the Mattoni museum or the Bučina lookout tower. Numerous rapids are interspersed with the dangerous Radošov weir, which you should not ride under any circumstances, but carry over on the left bank. Then you continue around Vojkovice to the Jakubov weir, then you sail through the slopes of the Doupov and Ore Mountains around Himlštejn Castle, the Malý Stolec natural monument and the Boč Matterhorn. Just before Boč there will be a small step and from there it is only a short way to the destination. At the U Včelky campsite, you return the boats between 4 - 6 pm to the campsite manager.
